The 3 new Sony smartphones are named as the Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and the Xperia 10 Plus. All these smartphones are the latest mid-range flagships of the company. These 3 smartphones do not have either 5G or a foldable screen, however, they have a unique Ultrawide display. It is believed that the aspect ratio of their smartphone as 21:9. Design

It is quite obvious that the unique selling point of these three smartphones will be the Ultra white screen that is used. However, the tall screen does not look very attractive and is not at all suitable for people who like to operate a smartphone with a single hand. The display of Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 Plus is significantly larger than the display of Xperia 10. You will have to use both your hands to reach the top part of the screen. This is a very big disadvantage for people having small fingers.

All these three devices look similar and have thin bezels with a slightly significant head. The Sony Xperia 10 and 10 + have a polycarbonate back cover, while, the Sony Xperia 1 has a glass coated back which gives it a premium look. Moreover, the Sony Xperia 1 has an IP68 rating which signifies that the device is water resistant. On the other hand, neither of the Xperia 10 variants have a water resistance rating. There is a huge gap between the specifications on these three devices. The Sony Xperia 10 is powered by the Snapdragon 830 processor, whereas, the Xperia 10 plus is powered by Snapdragon 836 processor. Hence, both these devices have a regular Snapdragon processor which is able to handle the day to day work. However, you will not be able to play high-end games on these devices. Hence, these are the typical mid-range smartphone by Sony.

On the other hand, the Sony Xperia 1 smartphone is based on a completely different line and is powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 855 processor. This means that you can play each and every high and game and the device can do anything you want. This is because the Snapdragon 855 processor is the latest and the most powerful processor available in the industry as of now. The other two devices can run for a full day because of a decent battery. Xperia 1 has a slightly larger battery and supports quick charge 3.0 along with wireless charging. 3. Software

All three devices are powered by the latest Android 9.0 pie. On the top, they have a Sony user interface which is almost similar to the stock Android interface found on the pixel devices. Moreover, the manufacturer promise is a 2 years substantial update on all these three devices. Hence, we expect that Android Q update will be received on all the Sony Xperia devices. Moreover, some people also believe that it will be seeing the Android R update.

Price

The Sony Xperia 10 and 10 plus is arriving on 18th March. The Xperia 10 will be available for $350, while, Xperia 10 plus will be available for $450. On the other hand, Xperia 1 will be much more costly and the official announcement has not been made about the release date and the price tag in the US. However, we expected to be more than $1000. Hence, it is quite clear that you should go for the Sony Xperia 1 if your budget permits.
