After the viral video on Twitter of a young woman licking Blue Bell ice cream and putting it back to the supermarket freezer grabbed the attention of the people or consumers, the officials came into action. This viral video was posted on Twitter on 29 June.
Law enforcement officials have now finally identified as well as interviewed the woman who was recorded in the ice cream licking video.
Twitter users have also expressed their disgust at the unsanitary act. Blue Bell also showed their concern on this case and thanked consumers on twitter for alerting the company of the tampering on July 1.
The company said in their tweet, “Hello! We want to thank our consumers for alerting us to the recent food tampering incident. We take this issue very seriously and are currently working with the appropriate authorities. For more information, please click here: http://www.bluebell.com”

Named the “Blue Bell licker,” police in Lufkin, Texas, on Friday declared on Facebook that the suspect was identified as a juvenile who is from close to San Antonio. Her boyfriend, an adult whose family hails from Lufkin, also confessed to his participation. Under Texas law, anybody who is under the age of 17 is considered to be a juvenile.
As we have earlier said that the suspect is a minor because of which her case is going to be turned over to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Police are now investigating with her boyfriend’s involvement to decide whether he is going to face any charges or not.
For the reason that she is a juvenile offender, her identity will be protected under section 58.104 of the Texas Family Code. The case is going to be turned over to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and will remain under investigation until it completely gets solved.
The case is notable for the reason that an additional Instagram user who is an adult claimed that they were the one licking ice cream.
“You can call it Flu Bell ice cream now ‘cause I was a lil sick last week,” the catfish said. “Repost yourself doing this. Let’s see if we can start an epidemic (literally).”
Blue Bell has immediately identified the store’s location as a Walmart in Lufkin, which is based on “unique merchandising” sold in that particular store, as per to the BuzzFeed News. The company instructed the store managers to take away all the half-gallon tubs of Blue Bell Tin Roof, as well as officials, believe the contaminated container was not sold yet.
But this gross doesn’t end here as there are many others who are also copying her ice cream moves. Larz, who is an influencer, claims he’s part of Jake Paul’s Team 10, and posted a video of himself in which he is the ice cream carton from the supermarket freezer and started eating ice cream out of it with his bare hands and then placing it back on the store shelf. Jake Paul apparently told an additional YouTuber that “He’s not on Team 10 nor do I know him.”
