WandaVision is basically a TV-Series Spinoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe which is going to have the characters Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff and The Vision. Right now, everything about the series is kept in the secret and nothing is revealed yet regarding its plot, other characters and much more.
You can say that WandaVision is still covered in mystery, mainly with regard to the return of the Vision. And yet, Marvel, as well as Disney, have released some of the small tidbits of details regarding the show into the wild, which also comprises its logo, its main cast, as well as its release date.
Here is everything that you are eager to know about and the one that we know about WandaVision so far.
WandaVision: Logo And Release Date
Marvel Studios through their official twitter account posted the logo for upcoming WandaVision series with a note, which reads: “Just announced in Hall H at #SDCC, Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION, an original series with Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Teyonah Parris. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Spring 2021.”
As per to the Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, WandaVision is going to make its release in Spring 2021, about the same time as an additional MCU show, Loki, and just in advance of the theatrical release of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, which might have some kind of connection to WandaVision.
WandaVision Cast
Like the other upcoming Marvel shows to Disney+, WandaVision is also going to feature the same actors that you have already loved and seen in the big screen. This means, that you are going to see Elizabeth Olsen returning as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, as well as Paul Bettany, who is going to be back with his role as the robotic Avenger known as Vision.
An additional cast/ character is going to join the main leads of the series and that is none other than Teyonah Parris. She has been well appreciated for her work or performance in Mad Men, If Beale Street Could Talk, and Dear White People (the movie).
Though she is going to be new to the MCU, but the character she is going to play isn’t the new one. Monica Rambeau, who appeared as a child in Captain Marvel, in which she’s introduced herself as the daughter of Lashana Lynch, but now she’s all grown up by the time that WandaVision started.
Actress @TeyonahParris has been cast in the #WandaVision Disney+ series as Monica Rambeau, the same character (but now adult) as the young girl in CAPTAIN MARVEL! https://t.co/dos1gNISBO pic.twitter.com/clH62wLkhH
