Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Next Movies After Spider-Man: Far From Home

Marvel Cinematic Universe's Next Movies After Spider-Man- Far From Home

It is not surprising to know that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is looking quite different after Avengers: Endgame. This is particularly because now we know who is still alive and who will not be active in the immediate future.  MCU officially concluded with the recent release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, there have been clues that where the studio plans to go now as its Infinity Saga is in the rearview mirror. MCU might be heading to this possibility which is concluded from the films and television series in the works.

Movies On the Books

Marvel Studios currently has at least six more films in various stages of development or casting that are still not on the calendar. Casting is well underway for Black Widow. It is a solo featuring movie that will bring back as a super spy in Marvel’s eponymous. The film is to get set before the events of Endgame due to the fate of the character of the film. The film explores some of her early adventures which are possible in the years before she joined Nick Fury’s Avengers Initiative. These sequels are also in development for Black Panther and Doctor Strange and James Gunn is back behind the camera for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 There is one thing more which is now confirmed that the movie Guardian of Galaxy Vol.3 is that it won’t be called as Asgardians of the Galaxy. Though Thor is wanting so much to retitle the movie it will be the same. There are also indications from Gunn that Rocket Raccoon’s story will play a big part in the movie.

Confirmed TV Series

The launch of Disney’s streaming service Disney Plus will also send a host of MCU characters to the small screen. The shows that are announced for the release are Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision and Hawkeye.

Series that we have already seen

We have achieved information regarding the confirmation that Tony Stark, Captain America, Black Widow, and Vision are already assumed dead by the public in Marvel’s movie-verse. It also indicated that Avengers has not yet assembled a new lineup in the aftermath of the movie Endgame.

What is Rumored?

MCU’s trio of the founding heroes is conspicuously absent from the phase 4 conversations i.e. Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor.

Chris Evans has all but confirmed that the character’s decision to shed his shield and uniform at the conclusion of Endgame.

Conversely, Chris Hemsworth also does not seem to be planning an exit from his portrayal of Thor and also gave an indication that he will return for another movie after his current contract expires.

Robert Downey Jr. is also in a similar condition with the role of Tony Stark as his last movie Iron Man has already been in the rearview mirror for years. Endgame was the last featured role he played in MCU.

What all this Probably Means?

The first thing to notice here is that death is never the last word for the choice of Marvel’s heroes. After the death in Infinity War, a long list of the characters that include Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spiderman, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and Loki are all set to appear in upcoming projects.
