The second match of West Indies was held on 6 June 2019 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham against Australia, where Australia won by 15 runs. The third match was against South Africa which ended up with no result as the match was abandoned due to heavy rain. The fourth match of Windies was against England where England won by 8 wickets. Bangladesh won by 7 wickets in their fifth match and in their last match, New Zealand won by 5 runs.
The champions of the first two World Cups that is in the year 1975 and 1979, the West Indies seem to be off-beat as they entered the competition as one of the strongest teams but now one can clearly see and say that their performance in past matches was not up to the mark. They really have to work hard and have to win all the remaining matches if they want to move on to next stage of the tournament.
