
Artemis Fowl Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer: A new movie which is a novel adopted one is going to get into theaters really soon. After so many years of delayed production of the movie adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl is likely to reach theatres soon in the spring of 2020. The movie has a story which actually based on a novel in which a genius boy discovers a subterranean fairy world. The director of the film is Kenneth Branagh. The movie release will be by Walt Disney Studios.
Release Date of the Movie
Already the film has been delayed, unfortunately. The movie Artemis Fowl was expected to get its release in theatres on 9th August 2019 in the UK and US. But due to certain circumstances, the release of the film has been delayed by Walt Disnep. The new expected release date of the movie is in the next year 2020 and in the spring season on 29th May.
The reasons for the delay are still not revealed but the trailers were already released as per the earlier release date of the movie. There would have been the need to reshoot some parts of the film or some other issues. There is another movie which was set for the release date of Artemis Fowl that is The Art of Racing in the Rain which is actually a fox film. There can be one reason that Disney might have not been wanting to double up on itself.

Dame Judi Dench plays the role of Commander Root who is the head of LEprecon. Ferdia Shaw has made the film as her debut as Artemis Fowl 2. Nonso Anozie plays the role of her servant Domovoi Butler. The audience of Game of Thrones can recognize him really well. The cast of the movie also includes Josh Gad who plays the role of a dwarf Mulch Diggums and also a newcomer Lara McDonnell in the role of LEP Captain Holly Short.
The Plot of the Movie
This movie Artemis Fowl has been set in a kind of fantastical universe. In this case, Earth is shown as home to an underground civilization of fairies. This mythical world that collides with that of humanity This is when the child prodigy Artemis Fowl 2 provokes the fairies. He is the one who believes who might be responsible for the disappearance of his father into a conflict that would expose the species to the world.
Director and Writer of the Movie
As mentioned earlier the movie is directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh who has recently worked on some projects that include Agatha Christie which is the adaptation Murder on the Orient Express and this is Disney’s 2015 live-action Cinderella. The Artemis Fowl books were written by Eoin Colfer with whom Branagh consulted as he began the project of directing the movie which is based on the novel. The movie is a combination of two novels.
