American Idol 2019 Season 17 Live Updates: Who Was The Winner In Grand Finale?

                 American Idol 2019 Season 17 Live Updates Winner Name: American Idol is returning this Sunday night with a moment for which the audience has been waiting since long. The moment is the crowning of this season’s winner. There are only contestants remaining Madison Vandenburg, Alejandro Aranda and Laine Hardy. These are the finalists after they made a tribute last week to John’s Elton last week. Find out that which contestant will be the winner when the American Idol airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Sunday’s episode will see many performances before the crowning of the winner. Idol royalty Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert — as well as Weezer, Dan + Shay, Kane BrownKool & The Gang and Jon Pardi,  are the performance for the night.

The judges of the show Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie will also perform on the night.

Round 1

For his performance, the three of the judges added their comments for him.

Judge Katy Perry said that if he continued working hard as he does then in the next five years he will be the biggest star on the planet.

Judge Luke Bryan added that he is so honored and proud to have him there.

Judge Richie concluded saying that she would never have said this to him but the song was nasty.

Vote for Madison, text 8 to 21523

Next on the stage was 17-year-old Madison. The comments for her are as follows.

Bryan said that what is so exciting about her growth. It is been so amazing to wait and quite happy.

Richie said that she is unaware of the gift she possesses and she is an amazing light. And the judge herself is so happy to be the part of your flight and she is on her way.

Vandenburg interjected saying that she doesn’t know why is she shaking so much.

Then Katy Perry replied saying this is because your greatness is coming out of you.

Vote for Alejandro

Alejandro Aranda was the one who concluded the first round. The comments for him were also good. Singing his original song i.e. “Millenial Love,” the Pomona-native captivated everyone in the room which included the judges.

Richie said that it was love for him in his first round.

Perry added that there is so much reverence and respect for him when he sings. Moreover, he will be great because he is already great.

Bryan concluded that he has been spoiling the judges every week.

Second Round

In the second round, Hardy came up on stage and performed Hank Williams’ “Jambalaya.” Then secondly Vandenburg returned to the stage with her another performance  Clarkson’s “Breakaway.” And in the end, the Alejandro made an end to the second round by his performance of his song “Tonight”.

After the second round was closed then the two finalists decided are

  1. Laine Hardy
  2. Alejandro Aranda

Final Round

For kicking off the final round, Hardy performed Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home” and for closing the time on American Idol, Aranda brought it back to his first song performed on the show–his original, “Out Loud.”

Winner

Laine Hardy is the third American Idol Winner who had been eliminated from the previous seasons.
