
On Wednesday afternoon, an Amber Alert was issued for a 1-year-old boy who was last seen with his mother nearby Paso Robles has been found several hours later.
The 1-year-old boy named Namaste Dix was last seen with his 23-year-old mother, Rashawna Bullock, on Wednesday morning around 9:15 am at Barney Schwartz Park in Paso Robles.
What actually happened on Wednesday morning is that Dix is basically a ward of the court and was with a social worker for a supervised visit with his mother at Barney Schwartz Park in Paso Robles. During a visit with her son and a Child Welfare Services worker, Bullock pulled out a knife on the social worker and fled away with the child on the way to her 50-year-old mother Sabrina Bullock who was also there waiting nearby in the dark grey 2012 with the license plate number 6XKD235.
The social worker didn’t waste a single minute and quickly called the police department in order to alert them that Bullock had fled away with a one-year-old child.
Immediately, Paso Robles Police Department issued an Amber Alert for San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, San Benito, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Alameda Counties.
The department tweeted, “AMBER ALERT – San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, San Benito, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Alameda Counties @PasoRoblesPD IF SEEN, CALL 9-1-1”
After a few hours of investigation, the Jeep found in a parking lot in Calabasas close to the Lost Hills exit after an observant young man spotted the vehicle that was matching the description.
The young man informed that Bullock, her mother, along with her child left the car and entered in an Uber ride which was waiting nearby. At that time, he decided to go up to the Uber driver in order to stop them from leaving the place.
The man told CBSLA’s Dave Lopez, “We stopped the Uber and then we asked her to roll her window down and we explained the story and she agreed that it was not a good idea to drive,”.
He further added, “Then the woman that had taken the baby ran.”

Bullock then took the baby in her arms and ran across the parking lot where deputies in a squad car were already there and were able to locate her immediately and then take the child safely.
The California Highway Patrol after successfully rescuing the child on Wednesday afternoon tweeted around 2:30 pm that one-year-old Namaste Dix was located. Namaste’s mother, Rashawna Bullock along with Rashawn’s mother, 50-year-old Serbian Bullock, has been now taken into custody.
The department tweeted, “This AMBER Alert has been deactivated. The child has been located and the suspects are in custody.”
Both Bullock and her mother were taken into custody and further investigation and charges will be imposed on both of them. Dix was later carried to a hospital as a precaution and he will be later returned to the child services.
