Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode IX): The Star Wars film series revolves around a set of trilogies. It is also referred to as the “Skywalker Saga” or the “Star Wars saga”. Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode IX)
The production of The Rise of Skywalker was arranged to start in the year 2017. Carrie Fisher was initially scheduled for a main role in the film, but due to her sudden death, her role had to be changed. In January 2017, Lucasfilm said that they would not digitally create Fisher’s performance for the film.
In April 2017, Fisher’s brother Todd, as well as his daughter Billie Lourd, gave Disney the approval to use unreleased the shots from the first two films of the sequel trilogy.
