Sherlock Holmes 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Spoilers, Production: There were quite rumblings of a third movie from the Sherlock Holmes series. The series is from Guy Ritchie. In the month of January 2012, when Sherlock Holmes series entered the theatres then soon after a month there were talks regarding the new franchise. Obviously, it is nothing to get amazed that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation is the most portrayed literary character ever. After the busy schedules for the three main people associated with the movie, it is soon to get a release. The director is Ritchie, star Robert Downey Jr and co-star Jude Law. The fans of the series now have the good news. This is something that they have not been looking with detective eyes or magnifying glass. However, Warner Bros. and Roadshow Pictures have made confirmation about the release of the third movie of the series. People are in dilemma now regarding what to expect from the movie.
Sherlock Holmes 3 Release Date
Warner Bros. in their revelation about the release said that movie will come in theatres on 25th December 2020. But now the date has been pushed back to one year again. Now it will get released on 25th December 2021. We are still not knowing about the reasons behind this delay.
Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes has always been releasing on Christmas Day. Earlier movies of the series were also released around this day. The first movie was released in the year 2009 on 25th December while the second one A Game of Shadows made its release in the year 16th December 2011.
The Cast of the Movie
Stars
Downey and Law both are returning in the third movie of the series. This is quite obvious that without the bromance of both Downey and Law the movie will remain incomplete. There is a question of whether Kelly Reill will return. Same is with Stephen Fry (Sherlock’s brother Mycroft) or Eddie Marsan (Inspector Lestrade) will return or not.
Director
There is no official confirmation of the fact that whether Guy Ritchie will be directing this movie. On 1th October 2011, there was a news regarding that Iron Man writer is hired for some new screenplay. On the same time, there was another news revealing that Sherlock Holmes 3 would use writer’s room model usually employed to create a TV series.
Since then it is quite unsure whether Ritchie will write the movie. There is news on release date confirmation that Narcos co-creator Chris Brancato has written the screenplay for the third movie.
A Plot of the Movie
Downey talked about the film and said that this would be the best of the movie series. Since it has been quite a long time after A Game of Shadows to now propel the story forward. But as the essence of any story lies on codependency thus the movie will continue on the depending plot.

Producer Lionel Wigram is producing the movie. He is the one who also collaborated with Ritchie on King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. This is also quite clear that there should be no expectations at some point in 2020. This is because earlier it was in the news that productions will start in the year 22018 but there was nothing.
