Once Upon A Time In Hollywood: How Much Leonardo DiCaprio Earning?

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood: It’s not an easy task throughout to build a fortune that Leonardo DiCaprio has over the course of his acting career. Since he broke into the theatres in the year 1970s. He currently has significantly a net worth of more than $200 million. Even some of the industry’s biggest actors are not able to match that figure.

DiCaprio’s earning power through being above 40 is hardly diminished. In the year 2016, he enjoyed a celebration a $29 million year just before he made to collect his first Best Actor Oscar. With films like Revenant which is like grossing hundreds of millions worldwide, the investment is well worth it.

However, DiCaprio can not even expect to work on less bankable projects and still can’t expect to work on less bankable projects and still get the highest fee.  When he made a sign in to star in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. The gig involved a significant pay cut for Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to the Variety Report, DiCaprio’s salary for this picture which entered the theatres in July. It amounts to about half of what he would earn in a big-budget movie.

According to reports from the production budget for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood approached $100 million. This is quite a high number these days for a film that does not have a clear formula for the success of box-office.

Tarantino’s story revolves around a veteran actor (DiCaprio) and his stuntman (Brad Pitt) who navigate a changing Tinseltown in the late 1960s.

Margot Robbie, the female lead in the film, playing Sharon Tate, the wife of Roman Polanski which was murdered by the Charles Manson gang. Al Pacino, Lena Denham, Damian Lewis, and Kurt Russell also appeared in the film together. Obviously, no studio could make such a film if every actor were to demand top dollar.

To recoup its investment, the film will have to make about $150 million worldwide. With that in mind, it makes sense why DiCaprio would accept a lower paycheck.

The list Variety compiled backs that up. Of the three actors making $20 million dollars, two worked on film institutions. In the case of Vin Diesel movie (the fate of the furious),  it was the car-chase series. The top earner on the list worked on the James Bond franchise.

The net worth of the movie be $250 million in 2019, DiCaprio won’t be any worse off for taking his Once Upon a Time paycheck. Film lovers must be eagerly waiting for Tarantino’s new release. If the movie gets a flop at the box office, it will be that much harder for the next budget film featuring real people to get it done.
