New Amsterdam is a story based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer. The show was first premiered on 25th September 2018 on NBC.
The series was created by David Schulner and comprised of the total number of 22 episodes. It stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, and Tyler Labine in the major role. It was announced on February 2019 that the series had been renewed for a second season.
