The 2019 Daytona 500 is going to be held on 17th February 2019, Monday. It is basically a 500-mile-long (805 km) Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series motor race. The race is held at Daytona International Speedway which is in Daytona Beach, Florida and it is held every year.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series 2019 is going to be the 71st season of NASCAR professional stock car racing in the United States. The season is going to begin at Daytona International Speedway along with the Advance Auto Parts Clash and the Can-Am Duel succeeding competitions as well as the 61st consecutively of the Daytona 500. The NASCAR Cup Series 2019 will end on 17th November 2019 with Ford EcoBoost 400 race in Homestead–Miami Speedway track.
This motor race is the first of two Cup races which are held annually at Daytona. The second motor race is the Coke Zero 400, and one of three is held in Florida, with the yearly tournament face-off Ford EcoBoost 400 being held at Homestead south of Miami.
On the cup schedule, this is one of the four restrictor plate races. The initial opening of Daytona 500 was held back in 1959 overlapping with the inaugural of the speedway. Since 1982, it has remained the season-opening race of the Cup series.
The winning car is exhibited in race-winning condition for one year at their museum and gallery which is known as Daytona 500 Experience, next to Daytona International Speedway. The winner or champion who wins the Daytona 500 is presented with the beautiful Harley J. Earl Trophy in Victory Lane. In the previous year of 2018, the winner of Daytona 500 was Austin Dillon.
