Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan started his IPL career in 2008 with his home team Delhi and in the following year, he shifted base to Mumbai Indians. Though, it was at Sunrisers Hyderabad where he came to his own and became the second-highest all-time run-scorer. He has played many spectacular innings for the franchise.

However, in the recent time Dhawan was reportedly not happy with the franchise and was considering for a new franchise and finally, he was traded to Delhi Capitals for Shahbaz Nadeem, Vijay Shankar, and Abhishek Sharma.

Dhawan has been the main strength of Sunrisers’ batting department for years as well as his experience with Sunrisers has been vital to their achievement and victory. Letting their greatest skilled player leave does not look like the best decision of Sunrisers.

Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock is considered to be among the top wicket-keeper batsmen in the world. In international cricket, he has played a lot of critical innings at the top of the order for South Africa. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a wonderful couple of IPL seasons. In the year 2015, in only three matches, he averaged 40.66 while in the year 2016 he recorded 445 runs at an average of 37.08.

Remaining to his worthy IPL numbers, RCB accepted and bought him in the 2018 year’s auction. But unluckily he failed to amaze the audience as well as the team with scoring of just 201 runs in eight competitions. As a result, RCB sold him out to Mumbai Indians in this season’s first trade.

In the meantime, the left-hander is in great form in the continuing ODI series against Sri Lanka and is anticipated to surprise player in the playing XI for Mumbai Indians.

Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell is considered to be one of the biggest hitters in the World Cricket at the present time. The Australian has made his reputation of recording speedy runs and terminating the opposition bowling attack.

Maxwell has been always in demand in the IPL but unluckily, he has not able to retain that level in following years and recorded just 169 runs in the total number of 12 matches for Delhi Daredevils last season.

Marcus Stoinis

In the 2016 edition, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis first played for Kings XI Punjab and he had a remarkable debut season with the scores of 146 runs at an average of 36.50 as well as picking up eight wickets in seven matches. In the year 2017 edition, he was featured in only five matches for the 2014 runners-up.

On the other hand, the Australian in 2018 failed to live up to expectations and scored just 99 runs along with taking only three wickets in seven matches. Previous to this season, He was thus traded for Mandeep Singh with RCB.

However, Stoinis has shown his capability to bat progressively on Indian pitches in the on-going ODI series against India. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has previously said that the 29-year old is an influential player and if he keeps up his form in the T20 league, Kings XI Punjab will assuredly regret their choice.
