Final Fantasy 7 Remake: After over a decade of looking forward and the years of secrecy, Square Enix disclosed the world an entire lot of Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 back in the month of June.
The upcoming highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake is an action role-playing game which has been developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4.
When Will Final Fantasy 7 Remake Release?
The game has been split across numerous releases, out of which the first part is scheduled to get released on March 3, 2020.
For those who don’t know much about the game, it is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII, subsequent to the mercenary Cloud Strife as he, as well as eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, fight against the crooked Shinra megacorporation and the rogue, prior Shinra soldier, Sephiroth.
What’s New In Final Fantasy 7 Remake?
Final Fantasy is the most popular RPG franchise ever, as well as Final Fantasy 7, is also going to be the most famous Final Fantasy game ever. It sold around 11 million units, as per to the creator Square Enix, which then later makes it the highest-selling game in the franchise. The 2016’s Final Fantasy 15, was also a huge success that stands at about 8.4 million shipped.
The gameplay of the game is intended to combine real-time action that is same as to Dissidia Final Fantasy with additional strategic elements.
In an additional noteworthy structural change from the original, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is to be segmented in at least total of two installments. In the year 2015, producer Yoshinori Kitase said the game is going to be broken into “multiple” installments, every single of which is going to be the size of Final Fantasy 13. It seems that those parts may possibly be even bigger than that: Part one, is set to release on March 2, 2020, and is going to span two Blu-ray discs, Kitase said at E3.
“I don’t want the remake to end as something solely nostalgic. I want to get the fans of the original version excited,” Kitase said to Dengeki, translated by Gematsu. “We’ll be making adjustments to the story with this thought in mind.”
Nomura further added his statement, puzzlingly saying, “I hope that [fans of the original] can be surprised once again.”
Also, in early July, Xbox Germany has publicized March 3, 2020, as the release date for an Xbox One version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Earlier to that, it was anticipated that the game was exclusive to PlayStation 4. Unluckily for Xbox One owners, it looks like it still is.
The Square Enix representative would say in a statement, “As previously announced, Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released for the PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020,”
“We have no plans for other platforms.”
A member of Xbox Germany’s marketing team also tweeted which states, “We did an internal mistake in the Social Team. We took the video off immediately. Sorry, no announcement on our side. Big apologies for this.”

When the rumors were all around the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, then next year, the officials publicized the news on the basis of fan requests. Important staff members have also returned to help with Remake.
Because of the scale of the project, the team made the decision to release Remake as numerous parts so no original content would be cut. After that, they also made the decision to add new content as well as to adjust the original character designs in order to balance between realism and the stylization.
