Principal photography of Black Widow has already started on May 28, 2019, in Norway. The movie is scheduled for release in the United States on May 1, 2020. Obviously, Scarlett Johansson will be in the movie as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow. She is going play as a highly-trained former KGB assassin, an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as a member of the Avengers.
Johansson has also described the movie as: “an opportunity to explore the Widow as a woman who has come into her own and is making independent and active choices for herself, probably for once in her life”.

The movie is directed by Cate Shortland, written by Jac Schaeffer as well as Ned Benson and produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The movie is also intended to be the twenty-fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The storyline of the movie revolves around the after events of Captain America: Civil War (2016).
