2019 ICC World Cup: Team West Indies Statistics

The champions of the first two World Cups that is in the year 1975 and 1979, the West Indies seem fated to tolerate a twisting tournament in spite of their latest Test series win over England on home ground.

The team which won the first opening world cup tournament in 1975 as well as the following 1975 edition turned out to be great displeasure of not winning it again since then. In 1983 edition West Indies was the runner up against Team India but since then it was not listed in the winners’ list as well as in the runner up list too. The performance of West Indies was great back in the initial tournaments but now it is absolutely not up to the mark.

Game Changer Player

The West-Indies game changer might be Shimron Hetmyer who can possibly stand out for his team. He has also led West Indies to the world under-19 title in the year 2016.

Prediction

The power, as well as the depth of this West Indies team, is not to be miscalculated and when the whole thing is moving in a similar course there are slight chances that can stop them. Holding them on an off-day is going to be their ultimate breakdown.
