Xiaomi is currently expected to be working on the predecessor of Mi A2, also known as Mi 6x. The new smartphone will be named as MI A3 or MI 7x. Design & Display
MI A3 is expected to adopt the new Punch hole display which is in trend currently. Moreover, the smartphone will have a 6.2 inches IPS LCD display with 2246 × 1080 resolution. The rear part of the device will have a glass finishing which would give it up premium look. Moreover, the bezels would be significantly thin. Hence, the overall look of the smartphone is expected to be decent and good. Additionally, there will be a triple lens camera set up on the rear side. A Gorilla glass 5 protection is also expected to be present on the screen.
Specifications
It is quite strongly expected that MI A3 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 670 along with Adreno 612 GPU. It can handle the graphics of all popular and large games easily. Additionally, it will have an X12 modem which good support faster LTE. Mi A3 will not be having the much-needed 5G network, however, the LTE modem will help it to run and download anything from the internet at a much faster speed.
Moreover, it is expected that the smartphone will be released in three variants. One will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, whereas, the second one will be having a 6gb Ram and 128 GB storage. Third when will be the most expensive variant with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage space. Hence, you can buy any one of this MI A3 variant. Also, it will be powered by a fairly large 3300 MAH battery.
Camera
As mentioned earlier, MI A3 will be having a triple lens camera set up on the red side and a front facing camera embedded in the punch hole. One will be a telephoto lens, whereas, the second one would be an Ultrawide lens. The third one is expected to be a more bay’s lens. Hence, the camera setup is capable of capture and some amazing pictures and Ultrawide shots.
Software Update
MI A3 will be powered by the standard Android 9.0 pie. These are basically the Android one phones and hence, will be having the stock Android software. Being a stock Android, Google promises two years of regular updates on smartphones. Hence, MI A3 will be upgradable to Android Q as well as Android R.
Price
MI A3 is expected to be a budget smartphone and will go on sale in China first. Thereafter, it will be released in other parts of the world with the convention MI A3 name. The price range will be based on the Ram and storage variant you opt for. We expect the price to be something around $250-$300.
