
What is Global Running Day And How to Celebrate? Global Running Day is a day which is held every year that celebrates the sport of running. It is held yearly on the first Wednesday of June. On this many people of all the ages take part in this event and all the participants take the pledge to take part in some type of running activity by submitting their names through the Global Running Day website. This year in 2019, the Global Running Day 2019 is scheduled to be held on June 5, Wednesday.

Brooks Running
From the official Brooks Running twitter account, the tweet stated, “Global Running Day is June 5! Join our @Strava challenge and #RunItForward from May 15 – June 5 to earn donations for high school runners that need gear. Together, every mile counts.”
Running shoe company Brooks, like in the previous year in 2018, is yet again encouraging runners to take part in the “Run it Forward” Strava challenge supporting young runners from now through June 5.
Marathon Sports
With the enthusiasm of the Boston Marathon is going in the air, the city’s flagship running store is presenting various events in order to observe and celebrate Global Running Day, comprising evening group runs leaving from the store’s different locations all over the Boston area.
Chicago Area Runners Association
