Pennyworth Release Date, Trailer, Cast, Filming: Pennyworth is an upcoming American drama television series which is based on characters published by DC Comics. The series is basically created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger it is all set to premiere on July 28, 2019, on Epix.
The series stars Jack Bannon, Ben Aldridge, Ryan Fletcher, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Paloma Faith and Jason Flemyng on the lead role. It is executive produced by Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon.
When the project was initially declared back in May, EPIX President Michael Wright talks about the series and said in a statement. “As genuine fans of these classic DC characters, as well as the incredibly talented Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon, we couldn’t be more excited to make EPIX the home of this series.” He then further added, “We can’t wait to work with Bruno and Danny – along with Peter Roth, Susan Rovner, Brett Paul and the team at Warner Horizon – on this fantastic origin story.”
“Michael and his colleagues have created the perfect venue for original storytelling, and all of us working on Pennyworth are thrilled to be on the EPIX slate,” added Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon.

The Principal photography for the series was started on 22nd October 2018 at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, England. In addition, a number of shots were taken in London, comprising choosing the landmark building Florin Court as the home as well as the locality of one of the series lead characters.
