Oneplus is back in news for its 5G smartphone debut, expected in 2019. The technology is getting better day by day and we are expecting a global launch of the 5G network soon. Most experts believe that we will see the telcos rolling out 5G network only in 2019. However, that is not the case. AT&T is expected to launch their 5G network within 2 to 3 days. This means that we will be Adnan 2018 on a good note. If we are talking about 5G, and we don’t take the name of oneplus, it would not be sufficient. Oneplus 5G is back in news after being leaked on Twitter.
After the successful Global debut of oneplus 6T, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to launch the oneplus 5G phone. The manufacturer has given strong hints that it is working on the latest 5G technology and will be launching date in 2019. The news is not really new, OnePlus gave the hint, earlier this year. However, the recent tweet mentioned below has triggered a series of news again. The images of the smartphone were leaked in a recent meeting held in China.
Many Tech enthusiasts believe that OnePlus 5G Technology will be rolling out in 2019 under the brand name of OnePlus 7. Earlier in the year, the CEO of oneplus had confirmed that the company is working on its 5G model. The confirmation was given to the press in the Qualcomm Snapdragon summit held in Hawaii. The pictures leaked on Twitter does not confirm if the device being shown is OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 5G. However, most Tech people are in the opinion that it is OnePlus 7 with the latest 5G Technology.
OnePlus Leaks
The tweeted picture displays two OnePlus smartphones, one red colored and other in white. It also shows the CEO monitoring the presentation of oneplus Smartphones. The two smartphones seen in the picture have a conventional design, unlike OnePlus 6 and 6T. A circular bumped camera is seen on the back. It is a design that we see almost Moto phones. However, we do not confirm this to be the final design of the OnePlus 5G model. A closer look reveals a triple rear camera setup with a missing fingerprint sensor. Hence, we believe that the new OnePlus 5G smartphone will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor just like OnePlus 6T. All OnePlus smartphones launching in 2019 are confirmed to have the Snapdragon 855 processor. However, there can be a difference in the modem, depending on the model and version.
Earlier this month, OnePlus launched its latest flagship model, OnePlus 6T in the Global market. The devices had a 10 GB RAM and the fastest battery charging Technology ever. This shows us how aggressively oneplus is betting on technology. Hence, we expect the launch of OnePlus 5G to be sooner in 2019.
OnePlus 5G Launch Date
Even though there have been no official leaks by our sources, we believe the OnePlus 5G smartphone will be revealed and launched globally in May 2019. Moreover, OnePlus is expected to be the first smartphone brand in the entire world to launch the 5G Technology.
As of now, there are two possibilities. One, that oneplus 5 will be revealed as a new device, ahead of the oneplus 7 global launches. Another being that one plus 7 will be the OnePlus 5G smartphone. It is a strong belief that the latest smartphone to be revealed in 2019 will have 5G Technology embedded. Moreover, other companies and Smartphone manufacturers are aggressively working on the new 5G Technology. Hence, we expect the Global launch of 5G smartphones in early 2019. However, we believe OnePlus to be the first in the race because it is the only manufacturer who has confirmed the news.
