
Apple has recently released an update for iPhones on 17th December 2018. The iOS 12.1.2 update was rolled out fix some eSim bugs on the latest flagship models of iPhone released this year. This update was meant for iPhone XR, XS & XS Max. Besides eSim bugs, it was also released for fixing certain connectivity issues. Additionally, there were some bugs related to Facetime, which was fixed in this version of IOS 12.1.2 update
Later, another update with this same name, iOS 12.1.2 who was released which is believed to have triggered certain connectivity bugs in the iPhones. All those iPhone users who updated their device reported that the device was disconnecting the cellular network automatically, again and again. This major bug was the result of the latest iOS 12.1.2 update.
Earlier in December, iOS 12.1.1 update was released for iPhones. This updated fixed certain FaceTime and Haptic bugs. However, some connectivity issues were created because of this app. Hence, it was followed by the iOS 12.1.2 update soon. Users temporarily got all the bugs of connectivity fixed. However, the latter version of iOS 12.1.2 brought back the connection problem, on an even serious note.
iOS 12.1.2 Updated: Filled With Bugs
Just a few hours after the 12.1.2 update was released, Twitter and Reddit got spammed with complaints regarding the iOS 12.1.2 update. Most users claimed that they were completely unable to connect to local sims and are not being able to make calls or send text messages. A small portion of the users also claimed that they are having a problem in connecting to Wi-Fi.
Some initial and on official fixtures are being given by some developers. Below awesome sexes that will help you to connect to cellular data temporarily. However, the official update has to come out soon for improving and fixing on the bugs. After multiple complaints, Apple has already started working on the new update and is expected to release it in 2 to 3 days.
iPhone users who have not yet upgraded to iOS 12.1.2, are recommended not to update the device before any official note is released by Apple. They should wait for iOS 12.1.3 which is currently in beta testing mode.
iOS 12.1.2 Bug Fix
If your device has been affected by DD send iOS 12.1.2 connectivity bugs then follow the steps given below. this solution will temporarily resolve your schedule a network issue and help you to make calls and text messages again. However, we have already mentioned that this fix is temporary.
- Go to the settings on your device and click on the cellular menu tab.
- Now disable the Wi-Fi calling option.
- Now go to the cellular option and switch from LTE to voice and calls only.
Currently, only this fixes has been released by some developers unofficially. We expect the iOS 12.1.3 update to be rolled out soon and fix all the existing connectivity issues.
