The 2019 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to be the twelfth season of the IPL, which is a professional Twenty20 cricket league. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) establish the league in 2007.
On 8 January 2019, the BCCI made the announcement that the competition will start on 23 March and take place in various places in India. The bidding war of the 2019 IPL Players’ Auction was held in Jaipur, in the course of which huge amount of money around Rs 106.80 crore was spent.
