Atticus Shaffer was born on June 19, 1998, in Santa Clarita, California. born of father Ron Schaffer, and mother Debbie Shaffer and now lives with them in Acton, California. Has a brother; an older brother.
He was raised at home by his mother. Atticus always wanted to be an actor and was keen to pursue his career in the entertainment industry.

Atticus Shaffer began his acting career with the television series The Class. He played the role of Jonah in one of the series’ episodes entitled “The Class Rides a Bull” in 2001.
He made his film debut in 2008. He was offered the small role of a boy on a bus in the movie Leaving Barstow. In the same year, he appeared in “Hancock”.

Shaffer was born with a diagnosis of slightly broken bones but didn’t find the Lord until he was a teenager and was baptized in 2015. In an interview with Pureflix he said:
I really became a Christian when I was 15 years old. I just knew I had this drawing to say, ‘I need to know the Lord. I need to know where I stand.
Shaffer grew up in a Christian home and his mother always gave him the opportunity to develop his personal relationship with God. He added that he found God’s help as he endured endless surgeries and severe pain.
It has helped me become more empathetic and compassionate. They put you in situations where you have to rely on God.
Shaffer shared how important his faith has become in Hollywood and his acting career and defended his beliefs. Shaffer developed his faith in God when he became a Christian.
