Jim Carrey is selling his Los Angeles mansion, which is listed for nearly $29 million

The mansion has five bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a large courtyard patio, and a chef's kitchen

It also features contemporary interiors, including beamed ceilings with skylights, polished brick and hardwood floors, and a custom art deco theater.

In the backyard, there is a pool with a waterfall and a jacuzzi.

Carey purchased the estate, which is located in Brentwood and has views, in 1994 for $3.8 million, just before the release of "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Carey referred to the home as his "sanctuary" and "a place of enchantment and inspiration" for over three decades.

Carey has announced that he is "fairly serious" about retiring from acting in early 2022 and enjoys his quiet and spiritual life after a successful career in Hollywood.
